MEET THE INSTRUCTORS

Roger Raymond

Owner/ Master Instructor

Roger is a retired Army First Sergeant and a 4th-degree Black belt in Tae Kwon Do. He has over 28 years of martial arts teaching experience. Also, he has 13 years of experience as a Certified level III United States Army Combatives Master Instructor/School Manager.

He has expertise teaching Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, Muay Thai Kick Boxing, Western Boxing, and Wrestling and Weapons Training. Roger was a train the trainer for U.S. Army Combatives Program. He has trained Special Operations Instructors, U.S. Army Airborne, Navy Seals, Marine Recon, NCIS Team Instructors and Military Police. He is also a Certified Army Master Fitness Instructor.

Sabino J Mendez

Instructor

Sabino is a 1st degree black belt through ATA Taekwondo.

Practitioner in Jeetkunedo, (JKD) Kali (Eskrima is the national martial arts of the Philippines) & Wing Chun.

Sabino also works as a direct support specialist working with youth & families.

Sabino is originally from Chicago, IL and has excepted the opportunity to reside in Tucson, Arizona to pursue his dreams of being a martial arts instructor and to expand his knowledge in other forms of martial arts.

Hunter Raymond

Instructor

Hunter is a 1st degree Black Belt through the S.A.T.K.O. and Fight Back martial arts systems.

Hunter started his martial arts journey at the age of 5 in 2012 with Fight Back martial arts. He earned his 1st degree black belt in 2018. Hunter currently has 13+ years of martial arts training experience 7+ years as a Black Belt with 2 years as an Instructor focusing on semi-private sparring techniques.

Hunter is devoted to his faith and enjoys ministering to people in need. He also enjoys playing pickleball with his friends, hiking and exploring the Arizona trails and going to the local dirt bike tracks with friends and family.
